A storyboard depicting the user journey with a dental health app. It starts with a person waking up, followed by motivation to brush teeth, using an app that tracks and encourages good dental hygiene. The storyboard illustrates various app features such as progress tracking, rewards, and a smart mirror that analyzes brushing technique.

What I Learned

1

Multi-brand sites require a clear visual hierarchy system

ThriveWell's portfolio of wellness brands had to coexist on one platform without visual chaos. Establishing a clear parent brand identity with defined rules for how sub-brand elements were introduced kept the site coherent without flattening the brands into sameness.
2

Swiper.js is a powerful tool when the UX warrants it

The interactive gym services experience worked because the browsable layout was the right solution for the content — equipment and facilities are inherently spatial and comparative. Interactive components earn their complexity only when they solve a real navigation problem.
3

Ongoing support is a relationship, not a retainer line item

The post-launch support on ThriveWell built more trust than the initial build did. Being available and responsive as the client's needs evolved — without treating every small request as a negotiation — is what turned a project engagement into a long-term partnership.
4

Wellness brands demand emotional resonance, not just information architecture

A wellness platform needs to make people feel something before it can convince them of anything. The visual tone, photography direction, and copy voice were as strategically important as the page structure. Getting those right required understanding ThriveWell's mission at a level beyond the brief.
